ENJOY THE BEACH LSC220 CHALLENGE

This is my card for LSC220 Life's a beach (SPLITCOASTSTAMPERS)

I sponged the sky and the land. Drew the coconut tree and painted it for the opaque look.

The sentiment is handwritten. I bordered it with the scrap(the scrap after the pencil is sharpened) of the rotating handle pencil sharpener. I love the look of it and just cant throw it away.

SUNSET CARD

Here is the sunset scenery card that I was wanting to make from a long time and I finally DID it.
SUPPLIES:
  1. Water colours
  2. Sponges
  3. Stamps
  4. Post-it-notes
  5. Black marker
I took a yellow ochre card stock and used a cut Post It Note as a mask for the sun.
Sponged yellow chrome water colour on the entire card stock(cs).

Mixed a darker orange and red color and sponged it on the upper half of the cs. Blended the centre with the sponge used for yellow chrome.Blending gives a more natural look.
Sponged black ink both on top and bottom of the cs.

Removed the Post It Note and stamped the image. Gave a little orange line on the sun

Used a black marker to border the cardstock. It acts like a faux layer.Highlighted the stamped image with orange and green markers.

Assembled everything together. Completed the card.
Hope that Helped!
Thanks!

SCENERY CARD

This is one of my favourite cards .This is the first ever scenery card that I tried out.

For the moon I used the masking technique.I cut out a circle from a scrap paper and covered the cardstock with it (you can apply removable adhesive to it for convenience or cut it out from post-it notes) , then started sponging with the blue color. After covering the whole circumference with the ink I removed the scrap paper. I then continued with a darker ink(violet) and finally sponged with black ink to complete the night sky.

Sponged the same inks one after the other to show the moonlight falling on the snow. I then drew the trees on the right side and the cattails on the extreme left to balance the view. Colored it with markers.

The snowman was stamped on a separate paper, cut out and stuck to the cardstock. Ive used glitter pens to color it. You may notice that its tummy is popping out a little. For that I used cotton before sticking it to the main cs to get the desired effect.
This was later stuck to the grey cardstock to finish the card.
