I made this gift for my parents' 25th wedding anniversary. I used a 8" X 10"canvas for this one. Here's a tutorial.
I used an acrylic paint(pearl finish) and covered the whole canvas. I used a sponge. The application becomes really simple. Then started stamping it randomly.

Completed stamping. I used another acrylic paint to stamp. Clean the stamp as soon as you finish stamping.

Added ribbons.

This is the frame I made for their picture. The flowers and leaves are punched. The edges of the frame is sponged . Mom iswearing a saree(a traditional Indian attire) and a lot of jewellery.

Completed the project.
Thanks for looking!
Hope that helped.

  1. Monica,
VERY pretty, I know they will love it!

  2. Great gift for your parents! Happy Anniversary to them.

  3. Hi Archana, this is brilliant. I mean the whole concept and the execution is simply superb, nothing could be more apt for your parent's wedding anniversary. I'm sure they'll love it! can't wait to try something like myself.......

  4. This is the first I've seen of anything quite like this. Nice job, great idea and thanks for sharing

  5. What is especially love about this is the fact that we don't just need to personalise gifts (which is a norm or a ctaching trend!). Personalising gift wrapping is a great concept! :D

    superb use of colours....looks fab!

  6. Hey Archana, I love this card..Its made so lovingly and thoughtfully..and every detail adds to the loveliness...I had a query though- where do yo get to purchase stamps and flower punches?
